LEVEL: Primary School (4th, 5th and 6th grade)
SYNOPSYS
This play is about a little green dinosaur who lives alone and is looking for friends. He leaves his home in search of friendship. He goes through a forest in which he meets a little brown fox. The little brow fox invites him over to his house where they have lunch together. The little brown fox plays the guitar and gives his trumpet to the little green dinosaur. They go into the garden and start playing beautiful music together. Their beautiful melodies attract other little animals who come into the garden: the little black monkey, the little pink piggy, the little yellow lion, the little black and white zebra, the little orange tiger, the little black and white dog, etc. (The number of animals depends on the number of students there are in the class.) They all start dancing to the sounds of music and become good friends.
LIST OF CHARACTERS:
THE LITTLE GREEN DINOSAUR is sad looking at first, but then becomes a cheerful character.
THE LITTLE BROWN FOX is playful, cheerful and friendly.
THE LITTLE BLACK MONKEY: a bit naughty looking, playful, funny.
THE LITTLE PINK PIGGY: cute, feminine, sweet.
THE LITTLE YELLOW LION: a bit pompous looking but a very good dancer.
THE BLACK AND WHITE ZEBRA: energetic and restless.
THE LITTLE ORANGE TIGER: a bit fierce looking but a very good dancer.
THE LITTLE BLACK AND WHITE DOG: playful and friendly.
CHARACTERS OBJECTIVES:
They are all looking for friends and want to have fun together.
SCENES:
SCENE 1
The little green dinosaur alone at his home in a little house surrounded by apple trees and with a well in front of it. He is sad because he has no friends.
SCENE 2
It is set in a forest. The little green dinosaur meets the little brown fox and they become friends.
SCENE 3
It is set in the little brown fox’s home and his garden. They have lunch together and start playing in the garden. The beautiful music attracts other little animals. They all start dancing to the sounds of music. They all become friends. They are all happy.
